    1. 幹細胞(stem cell),具有自我增值與分化能力,依據不同的分化能力,而有'pluripotent','multipotent' 及 'totipotent' stem cells的區別,已證實幹細胞具有促進各器官成體細胞再生的能力,進一步掌握細胞分化與自體移植時機,未來細胞治療的臨床應用是指日可待。
    2. 外泌體(exosome)平均大小落在 30-100 nm 之間,在不同狀態、不同微環境產生的外泌體含有不同且複雜的生物分子,包括氨基酸、蛋白質核酸(mRNAs, microRNAs, DNAs等)、及許多細胞代謝產物等,由生物體內各種細胞所釋放,並廣泛分布於唾液、血漿、乳汁、尿液等體液當中,許多的研究顯現,這些於exosome 內的生物分子仍然具有生物活性,進而影響其他細胞的「行為」(如基因表現、蛋白表現),因此,外泌體具有潛在的應用價值,一方面可以作為診斷多種疾病的生物指標,另一方面也可以做為治療手段,未來有可能作為藥物的天然載體用於臨床治療。
