    About Us✍🏻

    全人照護

In order to provide more diversified and more comprehensive quality of care, our hospital combined the Intensive Care Medicine Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine Surgery team to establish the Intensive Care Medicine Center in August 2010. Over the years, the experienced medical team and advanced equipment have provided the best medical services for critically ill patients, as well as the best environment for intensive care medical training. We have also implemented a system of full-time and dedicated attending physicians in the intensive care unit, so that patients in the intensive care unit can have sufficient and experienced attending physicians to give good care 24 hours a day, and hope to become a leader in critical care in southern Taiwan.

In intensive care in the intensive care unit, "patient well-being" is the top priority. The medical care of critically ill patients is not only the physical care of the patient, but also the psychology and spirituality of the patient (the patient’s belief is extremely important in the recovery process), and the society (providing the medical and social resources needed by the patient) etc. . Therefore, the intensive care team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, respiratory therapists, rehabilitators, and social workers, etc., to provide diversified and multi-faceted medical care together. In addition, it also actively cooperates with various medical associations to organize a lot of critical care training. The department also regularly organizes various cross-professional seminars and teaching activities to build a cooperative mechanism of medical teams to implement critical care and holistic care. To improve the quality of medical treatment.

The hospital pays great attention to the quality improvement of the intensive care unit, and regularly collects total quality control indicators including mortality, 48-hour non-planned re-transfer to ICU rate, and average length of stay in hospital. If the threshold is exceeded, it will be reviewed and analyzed and used throughout the hospital. A report will be made in the quality control committee of the intensive care unit with a view to review and improvement. The unit continues to promote the improvement of medical quality and has won recognition from all walks of life at home and abroad. Not only has it passed ISO 9001:2015 and IWA1 certification, it has also been awarded the "Medical Quality Award" system implementation category "Gold Award" and more than 100 domestic and foreign honors.

The core value of this unit is to cherish life, holistic care, top medical care and innovative quality. The ultimate goal is to provide 24-hour high-quality medical services for critically ill patients. The basic core of high-quality medical care is quality improvement and patient safety. Through continuous monitoring of quality control indicators, the quality of the PDCA cycle medical treatment is improved, thereby providing safe and high-quality medical services for critically ill patients.
