Dr. Chao-Wen Hsu, Chief of division of colorectal surgery
The division of colorectal surgery at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital conducts lower GI endoscopic examinations and treatment with a team led by Dr. Chao-Wen Hsu, who is one of the most experienced experts in the field in Taiwan.
Our hospital conducts 120 colorectal ESDs per year (2022), and we have received numerous invitations from domestic and overseas for lectures and instruction and conduct the ESD Live and lecture activities. Trainees from Taiwan and abroad also come to the hospital to learn the ESD technique, and are playing active role by bringing the techniques back to their respective hospitals.
Even after graduation, we provide regular opportunities for interaction and exchange. We welcome trainees at any time.
