Diagnosis and Treatment Center for Eustachian Tube Dysfunction
Eustachian tube dysfunction is a condition caused by multiple factors such as rhinitis, sinusitis, skull base muscle dysfunction, as well as nasopharyngeal and head and neck cancers. Symptoms include aural fullness, hearing loss, and otalgia, significantly affecting quality of life. Our Eustachian Tube Diagnosis and Treatment Center offers surgical, non-surgical, and perioperative therapies and has become a national referral center for difficult-to-diagnose cases. In addition to monitoring hearing and middle ear function after cancer treatment, we provide specialized care for those with temporomandibular disorders. We are also the first medical center in southern Taiwan to complete balloon dilation Eustachian tuboplasty and injection Eustachian tuboplasty, and the first hospital to hold an Eustachian tube surgical dissection course.
