The Department of Medical Research was appointed by Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital (VGHKS) to develop basic research, engage talent at home and abroad to participate in medical research, and assist physicians at the hospital for teaching, matchmaking, and promoting research. These provide VGHKS with a strong research rapport clinically and help it get closer to becoming a top medical center in southern Taiwan
