The center is directly led and supervised by the superintendent and vice superintendent of the hospital and is staffed by a director and quality control professionals, totaling 16 people. The scope of business covers "hospital accreditation", " accreditation of task indices for medical centers", "KM management and auditing", "disease care quality certification", "risk management and internal control", and new tasks such as "project proposal system", "meeting project management", "precision medicine", "shared medical decision making", and "clinical auditing".
There are two sections and one special task group under the establishment of the Center, namely, the Medical Quality and Medical Safety Management Section, the Clinical Information Section, and the Quality Assurance Section. Each division/group is staffed with dedicated quality control personnel who are responsible for critical medical safety-related operations (Figure 2).
